E.L. Wood Braiding offers one of the most extensive selections of accessory cords available in the United States. Manufactured in our Upstate New York facility, our product line includes a wide variety of constructions, sizes, colors, and packaging options to meet the needs of manufacturers, distributors, and retailers.

Each product is available in a broad selection of solid colors, camouflage patterns, and custom color combinations. While our nylon cords are available in our full color library, many products can also be manufactured in Polyester and Polypropylene to meet specific performance requirements.

We offer both generic packaging and private label solutions to help support your brand. Whether you’re launching a new product line or expanding an existing one, we can package your cordage with our standard labeling or your custom-designed branding.

Flat Braids

Our flat braids are manufactured in widths ranging from 1/8″ to 3/4″, available in Nylon or Polypropylene, and can be produced in virtually any color combination from our extensive color library. Available in both coils and long-length spools, these braids provide a durable, attractive solution for a wide variety of products.

Shock Cord

E.L. Wood Braiding manufactures premium-quality shock cord in diameters ranging from 1/16″ to 1/2″. Our standard shock cord features a durable nylon braided outer jacket, providing superior UV resistance, abrasion resistance, and long-term performance compared to many polypropylene-covered alternatives.

While some manufacturers utilize polypropylene sleeves that can degrade with prolonged sun exposure, our nylon outer braid helps protect the elastic core and maintain the cord’s strength and appearance over time. Alternative jacket materials are also available upon request to meet specialized requirements.

Available in a wide range of colors and constructions, our shock cord is manufactured to deliver consistent quality and reliable performance across a variety of industries.

Round & Kernmantle Braids

Our 2mm–11mm Round and Kernmantle Braids are available in dozens of standard colors as well as custom color combinations. Manufactured with precision and consistency, these cords can be produced in multiple constructions to meet your specific design and performance requirements.
