Every product is manufactured using premium raw materials and is available in an extensive selection of solid colors, camouflage patterns, and custom color combinations. Most of our paracord is produced using 100% nylon for maximum strength, durability, and flexibility, while select constructions can also be manufactured in polyester or polypropylene to meet specific performance, environmental, or cost requirements.

550 Type III Commercial

If you are looking for the largest supplier of “REAL” Type III Survival Cord in the United States, you’ve found them. We currently offer over 400 colors and patterns, and the number is growing as we introduce new products or meet new customer demands. Our Commercial Grade version of the Military “550” Parachute Cord is basically the same product using 100% nylon materials and undergoing many of the same manufacturing steps. Our 550 Survival Cord is always manufactured with 100% nylon raw materials and offers a full seven strand core. We also offer our 550 Survival cord with Reflective or Glow in the Dark Tracers, or in our Fish N Fire. Not all 550 cords can meet these specifications. We do.

Tactical Paracord

Built for demanding environments, E.L. Wood Braiding’s Tactical Paracord combines strength, durability, and versatility in a lightweight, dependable cord. Available in 275 Tactical and 425 Tactical, it’s manufactured from 100% premium nylon to provide exceptional abrasion resistance, flexibility, and long-lasting performance. Whether you’re outfitting tactical gear, camping equipment, survival kits, hunting accessories, or outdoor products, our tactical paracord is designed to perform in challenging conditions while remaining easy to handle and knot. Our Tactical Paracord is offered in over 400 solid colors, camouflage patterns, and custom color combinations.

Paraline

Manufactured from 100% nylon, 650 Nylon Paraline features a construction that was originally designed for use in the apparel business. With the same outer sheath as 550 Type III commercial, this braid is different due to the 4 puffy strands as the core that offer “bulk” for sizing. This braid serves as a less expensive option for when high tensile strength is not needed. Available in more than 400 colors and is also available without the core.

Paramax

We put the MAX strength into Paracord. Paramax is a newly developed braid built with 100% nylon that is available in 1/4″ and 5/16” diameters. Featured in the 1/4” version is a core of 3 three-ply cabled strand. The 5/16” version features 6 three-ply cabled strands for even more strength. For heavy duty jobs, Paramax is perfect for when you need paracord with muscle.
